Sensitive Skin Soap
We have taken the gentlest of ingredients to create this natural Manuka honey soap especially for sensitive skin.
With no Palm oil, fillers or parabens, this soap is so gentle on the skin and has many beneficial properties.
Manuka Honey: can improve your skin’s appearance. It can balance your skin’s pH level and help slough away dead cell debris to keep your skin clean. Its anti-inflammatory effect can decrease local inflammation caused by acne. As an antibacterial, Manuka honey leaves fewer bacteria to infect pores and cause acne.
Beeswax: Beeswax carries antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped skin and bacterial infections that tend to affect us most in the dry, winter months. It forms a protective wall by sealing in moisture in our skin without smothering and clogging up the pores.
Coconut Oil: It’s naturally anti- bacterial, anti- fungal and moisturizing. Coconut oil is composed primarily of nourishing fatty acids and is especially high in lauric acid. It also contains vitamin E and healthy fats, which help to make skin smooth.
Rice Bran Oil: has the potential to promote hydration, reduce pigmentation, even out skin tones and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These skin benefits of rice bran oil are largely attributed to the high level of vitamin E, Vitamin B, omega -9, a rich array of fatty acids.
Cocoa Butter: high in fatty acids, which is why it’s often touted for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture. One common use of cocoa butter is to smooth scars, wrinkles, other marks on the skin.
Calendula Flowers: Calendula has been used for centuries to treat many ailments. Today, it’s more often used for topical ailments- i.e., damaged skin or other external issues. In fact, some medical herbalists believe it’s the single most useful herb for healing skin.
Neem Oil: Neem oil contains fatty acids, antioxidants, and antimicrobial compounds, and these can benefit the skin in a range of ways. Research shows that these compounds may help fight skin infections, promote wound healing, and combat signs of skin aging.
Hemp Oil: Hemp oil is known for not clogging pores, having anti-inflammatory properties, and providing superior moisturization to keep the skin looking and feeling supple.
Essential Oils:
Peppermint: Is known to smooth inflamed, itchy skin among other conditions.
Lemongrass: Help to minimize pores, limit the secretions of oil (Great for those for us with oily skin), and tighten skin.
Eucalyptus: has anti-inflammatory properties and can aid in reducing inflammation on the skin. Its antiseptic properties help heal wounds from acne, psoriasis or eczema. It kills off bacterial infection preventing inflammation due to its antibacterial properties. It’s an antioxidant helping to protect the skin from environmental damage and defends the skin from photo aging (damage from UV Rays)
Lavender: can benefit the skin in many ways, including having the ability to lessen acne, help lighten skin and reduce wrinkles.
