Borage Honey

The bees have been busy this season gathering from the masses of wild Borage growing along the braided riverbanks of North Canterbury.

Borage and Borage honey has many uses and beneficial properties.

Bees love the borage plant, and the honey produced is smooth and sweet.  The borage plant may be used for its medicinal properties but it's main use is as an herbal, homeopathic and allopathic medicine. The honey is thought to carry many of the same health benefits as the oil derived from the borage plant.
